Leeco Steel is seeking an experienced Crane Operator, Kinetic, Oxy Fuel and Parts Cleaners for our Oshkosh, WI location. This role supports overhead crane operations to move steel from receiving through warehouse to shipping. The position emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and safety.

The role includes shift coverage on 1st and 2nd shifts, with responsibilities for inventory control, documentation, and on-time order fulfillment, while maintaining safety standards in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Overhead crane operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives orders, loads and processes steel distribution using an overhead crane.
• Stores product by designation of storage areas and adjusts locations.
• Prepares product for shipment by verifying location and directing movement to staging area.
• Verifies product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports; updates entries.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Monitors inventory by completing counts as required.
• Maintains safety standards and supports distribution and organization missions.

Leeco Steel is a leading supplier of steel plate from the premier mills worldwide.

Due to our continued growth we are seeking an additional Crane Operator, Kinetic, Oxy Fuel and Parts Cleaners for our Oshkosh, WI location.

Previous experience with operating an overhead crane would be ideal.

This is for 1st shift Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 2nd shift Monday - Thursday 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Job Purpose:

Controls warehouse inventory by coordinating movement of steel from receiving to warehouse to shipping.

Duties:

• Receives orders, loads and process steel distribution using an overhead crane.
• Stores product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location inventory.
• Prepares product for shipment by verifying location; directing movement to staging area; resolving problems.
• Verifies product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports; adjusting entries.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Monitors inventory by completing counts as required.
• Accomplishes distribution and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Maintains safety standards.
