Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a machine operator to run, maintain, and troubleshoot production line equipment at our Atlanta-Main facility. You will work with automated packaging equipment to manufacture Home Care and Laundry products, ensuring lines run efficiently while following safety practices.

Starting hourly rate is $24.63 with potential shift differential for overnight hours. Two 12-hour shifts in a 2-2-3 pattern offer strong compensation and benefits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some vocational/technical or mechanical coursework in similar areas, highly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 yrs previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment; 3+ yrs highly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and/or call out minor repairs to mechanical issues with equipment due to jams, adjustments, and calibrations.
• Mechanical technical skills are highly preferred; knowledge of packaging equipment and processes, quality control principles (SOPs, GMPs).

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment, ensuring it is set up and maintained properly.
• Perform changeovers on all equipment, following established procedures and protocols.
• Fix and repair any equipment malfunctions using mechanical knowledge and skills.
• Identify and solve quality problems, ensuring products meet established quality standards.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all supplies and parts assigned, ordering replacements as needed.
• Assist with completion of improvement projects and equipment installations with the engineering team.
