Job Description

The Care and Treats Operator ensures the safe and effective packaging of high-quality products according to standards and schedules, delivering the right product to customers promptly and cost-effectively.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop and manage self, lead workgroups, and contribute to efficiency and quality with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts under stressful conditions, with full mobility including climbing ladders and stairs.

Key Responsibilities

Operate lines on a rotational 12-hour shift basis in the packaging hall, including changeovers and troubleshooting for equipment such as flow wrappers, KHS and Roberts FF&S, Somic case packers, and palletizers.

• Perform quality checks and report findings.
• Monitor product flow and meet production deadlines.
• Enter work orders into the MIS system and support maintenance calls.

Maintain a safe, clean work environment, address safety and quality concerns, and promote teamwork and problem-solving on the floor.
