Job summary

Reading Truck in Claremore, OK is hiring a Machine Operator for 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 10 hours) with overtime on Fridays. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

You will run production lots, perform brake press, plasma table, or laser operations, and participate in quality inspections and paperwork to keep the shop safe and efficient. Join a leading manufacturer and fleet upfit provider with decades of industry leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience operating brake press, plasma table, or laser equipment.
• Ability to perform drilling, tapping, and sanding as required.
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine shop operations and run production lots.
• Detect and report defective materials or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area and follow safety precautions.
• Complete and maintain paperwork related to runs.
• Assist with quality inspections of machined parts.

The Nuts and Bolts

• Perform machine shop operations
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to leadership
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety precautions
• Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: Drilling, tapping, and sanding, operating a Brake Press, Plasma Table, or Laser.
• Perform Quality inspections of machined products
• Complete and maintain paperwork
• Must be willing to wear company provided, require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
