Pratt & Whitney is seeking an onsite Manufacturing Operator in Asheville, NC to work in vane and blade production lines. You will follow work instructions, read drawings, and perform quality checks using precision measuring tools. The role requires shift work and overtime as needed.

Ideal candidates have a HS Diploma/GED and U.S. citizenship; previous manufacturing experience is a plus. The position offers full-time hours with a benefits package including health, retirement plans, and paid time

What You Will Do:

• Operator will work in Vane Hole Drill operations. Operator will follow work instructions provided. Operator will demonstrate understanding of quality and production.
• Demonstrates broad knowledge of machine shop practices, methods, and techniques. Works from drawings and sketches and uses advanced shop mathematics and a variety of precision measuring instruments.
• Work from drawings and operation sheets and use decimals and fractions and a variety of precision measuring instruments
• What You Will Learn
• Ability to operate a variety of production machines. Machines may include Drilling, CMMs, Airflow, Waterflow, or various other processes. This position will require performing routine operations. Working on the production line you will produce blades and or vanes as well as perform all quality checks. These positions require shift work and ability to work overtime when needed
