Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking a Machine Operator 1 in Massachusetts to partner with Manufacturing Operations and machine parts to specifications. You will report to the Manufacturing Specialist and operate a range of machines, following process sheets and supervisor instructions to ensure parts meet tolerances.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of related experience, basic reading/writing and math skills, and the ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools like a micrometer

• Must be current Temporary Employee at MKS doing the work of Machine Operator 1.
• Requires production experience, basic reading, writing and addition and subtraction skills.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Be able to use a micrometer and caliper.

As a Machine Operator 1 at MKS, INC. you will partner with Manufacturing Operations to machine parts to specifications. In this role, you will report to the Manfacturing Specialist.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Operating a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product


• Working from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks


• Checking and inspecting operation against predetermined tolerances

Skills You Bring:

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time


• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for 80% of the time
