Job summary

Walker Forge, Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a CNC Machinist to set up tooling, operate CNC machines, and perform visual inspection of forgings prior to machining.

You will inspect product for quality using measuring tools, maintain machine performance, and keep the work area neat, clean, and organized while following safety regulations.

Experience with a company computer system and routine maintenance tasks such as checking oil and coolant levels is a plus.

• Routine maintenance of CNC machines; check oil levels, coolant levels and concentration, change filters and monitor overall machine performance
• Empty chip bins when necessary
• Keep machine and work area neat, clean and organized
• Maintain required quantity and quality levels
• Follow all safety regulations
• Operate Company computer system
