Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is hiring a Machine Operator for our Whitesboro, NY facility. This full-time, direct manufacturing role focuses on setting up and operating CNC/EDM machinery to produce precision components. You will work with experienced machinists and engineers in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC and/or EDM machinery.
• Performing in-process quality inspections using precision measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height stands, and indicators).
• Following all quality assurance and safety procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
• Managing and completing work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Performing routine machine maintenance, such as cleaning and restocking materials, to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior Experience with polishing is highly desirable
• Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation role is a plus,
• We strongly encourage motivated individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude to apply, as on-the-job training will be provided for entry-level candidates.

Working Conditions:

• Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Team 4: Wednesday through Friday 6pm - 6am (Week One) Tuesday through Friday 6pm - 6am (Week Two)
Training: You will train on A Shift, Monday through Friday 7am - 3:30pm
