Job summary

Senneca Holdings is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and maintain press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to precise specifications, contributing to the production of high-quality commercial doors and related parts.

The role requires reading blueprints, setting machine controls, performing quality checks, and collaborating with engineers and supervisors to optimize processes while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and adjust machinery.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and protractors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, or straighten metal workpieces.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine machine settings.
• Adjust machine settings, including backstops, ram depth, and pressure, for precision bending.
• Perform quality checks on completed workpieces, measuring dimensions and angles.
• Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or issues and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and production supervisors to optimize processes and meet deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE; adhere to Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records, including material usage and output.

Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the production of high-quality commercial doors and components that meet our stringent quality standards.

Compensation

Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm: Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
