Job summary

Seneca Holdings is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to operate and maintain press brake machines for metal bending and forming to exact specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven experience operating press brake machines in manufacturing.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work orders.
• Solid mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot machinery.
• Proficiency with measurement tools: calipers, micrometers, protractors.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, or straighten metal workpieces.
• Read blueprints and work orders to determine machine settings and material needs.
• Adjust backstops, ram depth, and pressure for precise bending.
• Perform quality checks on finished parts and verify dimensions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot press brake equipment.
• Monitor operations and adjust for malfunctions.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize processes.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records of usage, settings and output.
