WITRON is looking for motivated Machine Operators to join our West Jefferson, Ohio warehouse team. You will operate and monitor a state-of-the-art automated material handling system within a fast-paced distribution center environment.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, basic maintenance, and collaboration with maintenance staff to ensure uptime and efficiency in logistics automation. Strong teamwork and comfort with HMIs/WMS are valued.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, conveyors or automated equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using computers, HMIs, or WMS.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated material handling equipment (MHE) and systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults, system errors, and material flow issues
• Perform basic maintenance and system recovery tasks
• Clear product jams, packaging issues, and carrier obstructions within the system
• Support continuous warehouse automation operations to ensure efficiency and uptime

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated material handling equipment (MHE) and systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults, system errors, and material flow issues
• Perform basic maintenance and system recovery tasks

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods
• Capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 80-100 feet
• Able to work in varying warehouse temperatures
• Work includes time incold storage and freezer environments(down to -10°F)
• Exposure to anindustrial warehouse setting with automated systems
