Laminate Technologies is hiring a Machine Operator in Waco, TX to set up, program, and operate cutting, drilling, and shaping machinery. You will read blueprints, follow job orders, and verify part quality against specifications.
The role requires careful inspection of finished workpieces, accuracy in measurements, and adherence to safety rules. Starting wages begin at $19.01 per hour with benefits after 30 days and 10‑hour shifts Monday through Thursday.

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting-up, adjusting, and operating machinery as well as inspection of workpieces to ensure they meet the quality standards for both Laminate Technologies and our customers.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Simple routine duties that follow definite procedures. Employee works as instructed and consults with supervisor and/or team leader as needed on all matters not specifically covered in instructions or guidelines.
Ability to add and subtract one- and three-digit numbers. Ability to read measurement devices such as rulers, gauges, etc.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions.
The work environment involves moderate risks requiring special safety precautions (i.e. working around moving parts or machines, and utilization of pallet jacks/tools in material handling). The work environment requires safe work practices and adherence to general safety regulations.
Climbing, stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, and walking. Pushing, pulling and using pushcart. Lifting up to 50-75 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. Fingering, grasping and feeling. Talking, hearing and repetitive motion. Very heavy work-exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and of constant moving objects. Required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures. Subject to noise. Subject to hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, and climbing. Subject to atmospheric conditions that may affect the respiratory system or the skin such as fumes and vapors.
