Job summary

Tucker Door & Trim is seeking a Machine Operator to join our Production Team in the United States. The role involves preparing Door Slabs for assembly and pre-hanging within a fast-paced millwork environment.

This full-time position runs Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, with a pay rate of $21 per hour and benefits including health, PTO, and a 401(k). You will operate CNC equipment, verify orders, monitor quality, and contribute to safe, on-time production.

Qualifications

• Prior CNC machining or millwork shop experience preferred.
• Basic computer and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read work orders and use measurement tools.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and teamwork.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate pre-programmed CNC machinery for door fabrication and assembly.
• Review work orders, confirm materials, measurements, and machine settings.
• Monitor equipment for malfunctions and adjust as needed.
• Maintain line pace to meet daily production goals while ensuring quality.
• Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and calibration on machinery.
• Record production logs and document outputs.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE.
• Assist in training new operators.
• Communicate equipment issues to supervisor promptly.

Requirements

• Prior experience with CNC Machining or manufacturing in adoor shop, mill shopor cabinet shopenvironment preferred.
• Basic computer and mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders,and measurement tools.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the shift (up to 75 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Operate pre-programmed, computer-controlled machinery used in door fabrication and assembly.
• Review work orders and confirm materials, measurements, and machine settings match production requirements.
• Monitor equipment operation to detect malfunctions or irregularities and make adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain proper pace of the line to meet daily production goals without compromising quality or safety.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure doors meet company standards and specifications.
• Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and calibration on machinery as assigned.
• Communicate equipment issues or downtime to the supervisor or maintenance team promptly.
• Follow all company safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and safe material handling.
• Assist in training new operators or line employees as directed.
• Maintain accurate production logs and documentation.
