Job summary

Tucker Door and Trim is hiring interior door casing installers and trimmers for its production team. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, with health benefits, PTO, and a 401k. The position is based in the Richmond, VA area, offering $18 per hour and a strong team environment.

Applicants must be able to use power and hand tools, read instructions, and lift up to 100 lbs as needed. Training will be provided; candidates from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Job description

We are growing again, and are adding Interior Door Casing Installer and Trimmers to our Production Team! Tucker Door & Trim is a premier wholesale distributor and manufacturer of doors, windows, and specialty millwork for the construction industry.

• $18/hr
• Full Time
• Monday to Friday
• 7am to 4pm

Required Experience

• Comfortableusing Power Tools and Hand Tools
• Familiar with any of the following; construction, renovation, skid assembly/repair, furniture assembly, cabinet installs, wood working, flooring installation,deck and fence building orautomotive and mechanical work.
• Experience with tape measures and power or pneumatic tools.
• Ability to consistently lift, push, pull, adjust 100lbs throughout the shift

Skills

• The willingness to be trained and open to learning new concepts.
• The ability to read and follow written instruction in English.
• Reading a measuring device accurately to 1/16 of an inch is essential.
• The ability to add and subtract fractions.
• Familiar with various types of tools, such as power drills, nail guns, cut saws etc.
• The ability to perform required tasks with minimal supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.
