Job summary

Tucker Door & Trim, a premier wholesale distributor and manufacturer for doors, windows and millwork, is hiring an Interior Door Casing Installer/Trimmer in Richmond, VA. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm with a starting wage of $18 per hour and a benefits package including health benefits, PTO and 401(k).

Candidate needs experience with power and hand tools, measuring and carpentry-related tasks, and physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs repeatedly. Training provided as needed.

Job description

We are growing again, and are adding Interior Door Casing Installer and Trimmers to our Production Team! Tucker Door & Trim is a premier wholesale distributor and manufacturer of doors, windows, and specialty millwork for the construction industry.

• $18/hr
• Full Time
• Monday to Friday
• 7am to 4pm
• Health Benefits, PTO, 401k

Required Experience

• Comfortableusing Power Tools and Hand Tools
• Familiar with any of the following; construction, renovation, skid assembly/repair, furniture assembly, cabinet installs, wood working, flooring installation,deck and fence building orautomotive and mechanical work.
• Experience with tape measures and power or pneumatic tools.
• Ability to consistently lift, push, pull, adjust 100lbs throughout the shift

Skills

• The willingness to be trained and open to learning new concepts.
• The ability to read and follow written instruction in English.
• Reading a measuring device accurately to 1/16 of an inch is essential.
• The ability to add and subtract fractions.
• Familiar with various types of tools, such as power drills, nail guns, cut saws etc.
• The ability to perform required tasks with minimal supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.
