Job summary

Remedy Staffing is hiring for a 2nd shift Machine Operator in East Syracuse. Shift is 2nd with hours 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime available. Responsibilities include setting up and operating screw machines, reading blueprints, and measuring with micrometers.

Cross-training on multiple machines is expected. Prior manufacturing experience is required. Candidates should be mechanically and mathematically inclined and able to pass a blueprint test at interview.

• Ability to be cross trained in a variety of screw machines


• Setup and operate conventional lathes, mills, and other machinery


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints


• Ability to use various measuring devices like micrometers and gauges

What you need to succeed:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Associates must be able to pass a blueprint test at interview.


• Prior experience in manufacturing and ACME operation is required.


• Mechanically inclined.


• Mathematicaly inclined.
