Job summary

Remedy Staffing is hiring for a 2nd shift Machine Operator in East Syracuse. Shift is 2nd with hours 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime available. Responsibilities include setting up and operating screw machines, reading blueprints, and measuring with micrometers.

Cross-training on multiple machines is expected. Prior manufacturing experience is required. Candidates should be mechanically and mathematically inclined and able to pass a blueprint test at interview.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Prior experience in manufacturing.
• Mechanically inclined.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train on a variety of screw machines.
• Set up and operate conventional lathes, mills and other machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Use measuring devices like micrometers and gauges.
