Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Machine Operator for Vancouver, WA to operate paper packaging/food service product machinery and produce high-quality items safely. This role emphasizes following procedures, verifying orders, and maintaining quality and cleanliness throughout production.

The position requires at least six months of manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of six months of experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably with a high-speed process.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Job Description

Machine Operator

Vancouver, WA

Compensation Includes

  • Starting Pay Rate of $24.90 - 25.90/hour - depending on experience
    • A $1.00 per hour shift differential is applied to all hours worked between 3:00pm and 6:59am the following day

Available Shifts

  • Day:Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm
  • Swing:Monday - Friday, 3:00pm to 11:00pm
  • Graveyard/3rd: Monday - Friday, 11:00pm to 7:00am
  • A: Sunday through Tuesday & every other Wednesday, 7:00am to 7:00pm
  • B: Thursday through Saturday & every other Wednesday, 7:00am to 7:00pm
  • C: Sunday through Tuesday & every other Wednesday, 7:00pm to 7:00am
  • D: Thursday through Saturday & every other Wednesday, 7:00pm to 7:00am

Overview

This position is responsible for operating paper packaging/food service product manufacturing machines in order to safely produce high quality paper packaging/food service products in accordance with the job safety analyses, production schedule, set up instructions, operating procedures and quality specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality checks on finished products
  • Complete daily production paperwork
