Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Machine Operator in Norcross, GA to run high-speed paper converting equipment for bags, sheets, and pan liners. You will follow safety rules, read orders, and ensure quality while meeting production schedules.

  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Complete assigned duties in compliance with company policies & procedures.
  • Actively engage in safety programs

Machine Operator

Norcross, GA

Compensation Includes

  • Starting Pay Rate of $19.34 - 19.86/hour - depending on experience
    • Additional $1.00/hour shift differential pay for 2nd & 3rd shifts

Overview

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating high-speed paper converting equipment to safely produce high-quality paper bags, sheets, and pan liners. This role ensures all production activities are performed in accordance with job safety analyses, production schedules, setup instructions, standard operating procedures, and quality specifications. The Machine Operator adheres to all safety program and quality assurance systems to support the achievement of site business goals and operational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow all safety procedures
  • Read and verify order sheets
  • Understand print job requirements and quality issues
  • Perform quality checks on finished products
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area
