Job summary

Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing LLC seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep our Van Buren, IN operation safe, reliable, and productive. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled equipment, perform repairs, and support preventive maintenance.

A typical day involves responding to interruptions, diagnosing issues, completing repairs, documenting work, and supporting reliability improvements to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English to perform job duties effectively and safely.
  • 2–3 years of qualified maintenance experience are preferred.
  • Education – 2-year degree from a technical or trade school and high school diploma/equivalency are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment to keep production running.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and participate in improvements to reduce downtime.
  • Document completed work and support projects to enhance reliability and plant performance.

Available Shift: | Day Shift | 4:00 AM – 4:15 PM | 2-2-3 schedule

Hourly Pay: $34/hour

Average Annual Salary: $81,328

Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will help keep our manufacturing operation safe, reliable, and productive. You will troubleshoot equipment problems, complete repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and support improvements that reduce downtime and strengthen equipment performance.

You will work with a variety of industrial equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, automated, and PLC‑controlled machinery.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys diagnosing complex issues, developing practical solutions, and taking ownership of equipment reliability.

A Typical Day Might Include:

Throughout the day, you will respond to equipment interruptions, determine the cause of mechanical or electrical issues, and complete repairs that allow production to resume safely and efficiently. You will also work closely with Production, perform planned maintenance, document completed work, and support projects designed to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.
