Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a dependable Machine Operator in Tracy, CA to set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery, following production schedules and work instructions to ensure quality outputs.

Candidates should read measuring devices and production documents, have basic computer skills, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The position offers weekly pay with direct deposit, benefits including medical, dental, vision, a 401k plan, and access to free skills training and tuition programs.

Machine Operator
Tracy, Ca
$19 an hour
Schedule: Monday to Saturday 6 AM - 2:30 PM
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery.

  • Follow production schedules and work instructions.

  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality specifications.

  • Measure materials and finished products using required tools.

  • Perform routine machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting.

  • Maintain accurate production records.

  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.

  • Maintain housekeeping standards in the production area.

  • Assist with machine changeovers and basic preventive maintenance.

Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (varies by location).

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including noise, heat, and moving machinery.

  • Ability to work overtime and varying shifts as required.
