Job summary

QPS Employment Group has an opportunity for a Machine Operator in Richfield, WI. This is a potential-to-hire position offering 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift with hours from 7:00am–3:00pm, 3:00pm–11:00pm, or 11:00pm–7:00am.

Responsibilities include setting up die-cutting equipment, inspecting tooling, aiding the operator to ensure efficiency and quality, and completing routine clean-ups. Qualifications require a HS diploma or GED and at least one year of machining experience, with cardboard/printing

• Experience in corrugated, folding carton, or printing preferred.

• Set up equipment accurately and safely for die-cutting quality boxes.
• Inspect tooling before and after runs to ensure repairs are made.

• Perform daily and weekly equipment cleaning.

Wage: $20.00 - $22.00/hour

Machine Operator Responsibilities

• Set-up equipment accurately and in accordance with proper and safe setup techniques to die-cut quality boxes
• Inspect all tooling before and after running to ensure that any necessary repairs are made
• Assist Machine Operator in the operation of machines, ensuring efficiency and the production of quality products
• Complete daily and weekly equipment clean-ups

Requirements for Machine Operator

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one year of machining experience
• Previous experience in the corrugated, folding carton, printing, or similar industry preferred
• Ability to multi-task and keep up with the pace of production while maintaining excellent quality and meeting machine efficiency goals for set-up and run speeds
• Excellent attendance record
