Starting in our Production department means you're ready to be there for your team, through regular attendance and a steadfast commitment to safe work practices. This position assists with the production, packaging, and quality of various roofing products.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing inventory control functions and required paperwork.
• Learning and understanding the positions in the Level I role.
• Embracing quality standards and performing checks to ensure quality shingles are produced.
• Maintaining open and consistent communication with the shift supervisor and line inspector.
• Cleaning work area and equipment.
• Abiding by all safety rules set forth by the company and regulatory agencies, reporting and correcting hazardous conditions.

Work environment considerations:

• Working near moving mechanical parts.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, loud noise, and uneven ground.

Physical demands:

• Using hands frequently to finger, handle, or feel.
• Reaching with hands and arms.
• Talking and listening.
• Standing, walking, and sitting.
• Bending at the waist.
• Lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
• Regular attendance is required.

Wages for Production Level I Machine Operator start at $23.79/hour, with opportunities for pay progression up to Level V based on training and tenure.
