Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Set up production equipment according to work orders and job specifications.
  • Read and interpret production documents, job tickets, and work instructions.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently while meeting production goals.
  • Monitor machine performance throughout production runs.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Identify production defects and make machine adjustments as needed.
  • Accurately record production data, material usage, and job completion information.
  • Package finished products according to customer and company requirements.
  • Maintain proper inventory and material usage throughout production.
  • Communicate production concerns, equipment issues, or quality problems to supervisors promptly.
  • Perform routine equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance.
  • Complete required quality assurance inspections and documentation.
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality control protocols.
  • Assist with additional production or warehouse duties as assigned.

Description

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment used to produce high-quality labels and printed products while meeting production schedules and quality standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working with machinery, and takes pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, but candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
