Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Machine Operator experience
- Experience with Standard Operating Procedures and process requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs., stand and walk, climb stairs, stoop, bend over, and lean into boxes throughout shift
- Mechanically inclined, production-oriented, and safety and quality conscious
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Valid Driver's License
- Will be trained on-site to drive a forklift
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and visually inspect various automotive components
- Packing parts per SOP instructions
- Operate and maintain Shot Blast equipment, loading and unloading components
- Clean shot blast room and work area throughout shift
- Use computer systems and bar code scanners for lot traceability of components
- Understand production schedule and daily assembly requirements
- Support other operations during periods of low shot blast demand
