Staffmark is now hiring a Machine Operator for a well-established manufacturing partner that values work ethic, growth, and long-term opportunity. This is an entry-level role with training provided-perfect for someone looking to learn a trade and build a stable future!
Hours & Pay:
Training Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Assigned Shift (after training): 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (some overtime may be required)
Pay: $17.00/hr during training | $17.30/hr on 2nd shift
Employment Type: Temp-to-hire opportunity (based on attendance and performance)
Position Summary:
In this role, you'll be trained on the 1st shift and later transition to the 2nd shift, supporting press operations and ensuring the production line runs smoothly. You'll assist with loading/unloading plates, cleaning tooling, inspecting parts for quality, and eventually training to set up presses and robotic systems. It's a fast-paced position in a supportive team environment-ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined and eager to grow.
