Kelly Services in Richmond, VA is seeking Machine Operators to join a premier manufacturing client. The position pays $17.00 per hour with day and night shifts (5am-5pm and 5pm-5am), starting on a 4-10 hour schedule with overtime possible and a 2-2-3 rotating cycle.

You will operate and monitor packaging equipment, use HMI for setup and troubleshooting, follow SOPs and GMP documentation, and contribute to a safe, quality-focused team culture that values growth and attendance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing and packaging machinery to ensure production efficiency.
• Utilize HMI systems for equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, and GMP/documentation requirements to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Multitask and manage multiple machine operations in dynamic production environments.
• Perform basic production-related math and complete production records accurately.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve equipment or process issues proactively.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Shift:Day and night shift: 5am-5pm and 5pm-5am (will start on 4-10 hr shift Monday-Thursday with potential OT on Fridays as needed and transition to 2-2-3 rotating schedule)

What’s a typical day as Machine Operator? You’ll be:

• Operating and monitoring manufacturing and packaging machinery to ensure efficient production.
• Utilizing HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems for equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Following SOPs, work instructions, and GMP/documentation requirements to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Multitasking and managing multiple machine operations simultaneously, adapting quickly to dynamic production environments.
• Performing basic math calculations related to production and completing production records/logbooks accurately.
• Identifying, escalating, and resolving equipment or process issues proactively.
