Job summary

SFS Group USA Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for the Exeter Twp (Reading), PA location on 2nd shift. Responsibilities include operating a packaging line, calibrating scales, using SAP, and forklift operation.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, 2–5 years in manufacturing, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and become forklift certified. Excellent teamwork and safety awareness are valued.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to become forklift certified and operate related equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Power up, operate, and shut down packaging machine.
• Identify materials to process work orders.
• Calibrate piece count scale of raw material; calibrate finishing scale to exact quantity defined by work order.
• Understand and confirm work order using SAP system.
• Operate Automatic Wrapper and Forklift to move goods.
• Troubleshoot machine issues as required; assist in training other employees.

Responsibilities
