Life Fitness / Hammer Strength in Owatonna, MN is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift. You will set up and operate production equipment to manufacture components for premium fitness equipment, while ensuring quality and safety.

The role offers a four-day workweek (Mon–Thu, 7:30 PM–6:00 AM), 3rd shift differential of $2.00 per hour, and eligibility for the Production Bonus Plan based on performance. A comprehensive benefits package is included for full-time team members.

• Perform simple setups and operate equipment such as manual punch press, shears, saws, drill press, timesaver, wash, and tumbler.
• Inspect parts to verify mechanical tolerances and engineering specifications.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep a clean work area.
• Complete required documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Base pay: $19.00-$22.13 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
• 3rd shift differential: $2.00 per hour for hours worked on 3rd shift

What You'll Do

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical/trade school training in metal fabrication
• Ability to read blueprints
• Knowledge of inspection equipment (calipers, gauges, protractors, tape measure)
• Working knowledge of metalworking
• 1 year of experience in a production environment

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Lift up to 35 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Repetitive motion
• Noisy environment

Your base wage will be between $19.00 - $22.13 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.
