Job summary

Smurfit Westrock currently seeks a dependable production/operator to work on the 1st shift, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday. Overtime is required during peak periods. The role pays $22.43 per hour with full benefits on the first day of employment.

Responsibilities include stacking corrugated product, quality checks, material setup, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Ideal candidates are safety-driven, fast learners, and eager to advance within the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass drug screening after conditional offer.
• Candidates must meet safety requirements and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate various manufacturing equipment following specific directions.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Follow safety regulations and wear required PPE.
• Lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs and stand for the shift.
• Work daily and/or weekend overtime during peak seasons.

The Opportunity:

• Position will work 1st Shift 6:00AM-4:00PM, Monday to Thursday.
• Must be available to work daily overtime.
• Position pay rate depends on position assigned ($22.43HR).

Job Summary:

Primary duties include safely performing a wide range of tasks that include stacking corrugated product, conducting quality checks, material set-up, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safe, an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes

and the ability to operate complex machinery and have a desire to advance within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific direction, operate power hand tools and other duties as assigned
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills
• Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations
• Ability to lift, push or pull 50 lbs., navigate stars, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift
• Required to work daily and/or weekend overtime during peak seasons
