Progress Rail Services Corp. is seeking a Machine Operator in Cleveland, OH to operate assigned machinery and produce track components. The role includes setting up equipment, inspecting output, and performing routine maintenance while following safety procedures.

This is an hourly, full-time position with competitive starting pay and benefits starting day one. The job requires basic math skills, ability to read blueprints, and mechanical aptitude.

Formación

Job Purpose:

Competitive starting pay range $25/hr and full benefits from day one!!!

2nd Shift 4pm to 12:30 am ($3 shift differential after completing training on 1st shift 6 to 8 weeks.)

Progress Rail Machine Operators work with heavy machinery producing railroad track components. They maintain equipment to ensure it operates safely and effectively. Their duties include preparing machinery for daily use, inspecting machinery for safety issues, and producing quality full track panels, turnouts and crossings, as well as build other rail components to customer specifications.

• A Machine Operator operates assigned machinery, monitors and optimizing efficiency, does basic maintenance to machines and performs quality checks;
• Performs all assigned machine shop operations;
• Set up and operates machines;
• Observe machine operations, detect work piece defects and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance;
• Operate machinery and equipment according to work instructions;
• Troubleshoot issues and perform routine and minor maintenance. Submit work orders for the maintenance requirements;
