Job summary

MCC Label in Oak Creek, Wisconsin is seeking a Machine Operator to support our label production lines. Experience is not required but helpful; the role involves handling rolls, checking print and seam quality, and data entry into the operation system.

You will lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work with basic measuring tools and Windows-based applications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and competitive hourly pay of $18.00 to $25.00.

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions.
• Ability to perform operations using US currency and measurement units (weight, volume, distance).
• Ability to use simple Windows-based applications.
• Physical demands require standing and frequent walking.
• Regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
• Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary).
• Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them.
• Must understand basic printing and seam related defects.
• Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek).
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

We are currently looking for a Machine Operator to join our team. Experience is not required but always a bonus.
