UPM Adhesive Materials is seeking a Machine Operator for the Mills River facility to run finishing and coating equipment, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The role involves cross-training across production areas and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

The position is full-time with a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior manufacturing experience and strong teamwork are highly valued.

UPM Adhesive Materials is looking for a Machine Operator for our team in Mills River, North Carolina.

What you will do

• Operate finishing and coating equipment safely to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications
• Work across production areas and build skills through cross-training
• Monitor product quality and communicate safety or process concerns promptly
• Support continuous improvement and effective shift handovers
• Safely move materials and operate forklifts and reel movers as needed

Working schedule: Full-time position working 12-hour rotating shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

This position is located in Mills River, North Carolina, USA. The position holder will report to a Coating or Finishing Supervisor at our Mills River Factory.
