UPM Adhesive Materials in Mills River, NC, is seeking a Machine Operator to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. You will operate finishing and coating equipment, monitor quality, and contribute to safe, efficient production across shifts.

You should be comfortable with digital reporting, committed to safety, and ready to cross-train with other teams to support continuous improvement and a reliable supply for customers worldwide.

UPM Adhesive Materials is looking for a Machine Operator for our team in Mills River, North Carolina.

What you will do

• Operate finishing and coating equipment safely to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications
• Work across production areas and build skills through cross-training
• Monitor product quality and communicate safety or process concerns promptly
• Support continuous improvement and effective shift handovers
• Safely move materials and operate forklifts and reel movers as needed

Working schedule: Full-time position working 12-hour rotating shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

This position is located in Mills River, North Carolina, USA. The position holder will report to a Coating or Finishing Supervisor at our Mills River Factory.
