Position Overview

We are seeking experienced, skilled Machine Operators to set up, maintain, and operate machinery. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety. The goal is to ensure smooth production processes to maximize efficiency and profits.

Responsibilities

1. Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to initiate production cycles.
2. Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed).
3. Feed raw materials into machines.
4. Test machine operation periodically.
5. Address issues that occur during shifts.
6. Inspect output for machine-related errors or flaws.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting at a minimum of $25 per hour, with potential increases to $32 or more over time. Additional bonuses include a $1,000 retainer bonus twice a year, and an annual bonus averaging $7,500, totaling up to $15,000 annually for high performers. Positions are available in Meriden, CT, and Cheshire, CT.

Shift Options

2nd shift (4pm-12am), 3rd shift (12am-8am), and off-shift schedules (Tuesday-Saturday, Wednesday-Sunday).

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of proven machinery operation experience.
• Understanding of production procedures.
• Consistent employment history.
• Mechanical and analytical skills.
• Positive attitude and excellent attendance.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Must pass drug screening and background checks.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills.

Safety Requirements

• Wear safety shoes (steel toe), eyeglasses, and ear protections.
• Participate in company ear testing surveillance.
• Handle sharp tools safely.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, and reach.
