Environmental Manufacturing Inc. – A Baker Manufacturing Company in Manhattan, KS is seeking a Machine Operator for a full-time, permanent role. You will operate manufacturing equipment, follow work orders, load and unload materials, and help maintain production records.

No advanced machining experience required; training provided. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with possible overtime. Competitive benefits and a stable, year-round position with room for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment according to work instructions and specifications.
• Read and follow production orders and job instructions.
• Load and unload materials and finished products.
• Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Measure parts using basic measuring tools when required.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist in other manufacturing areas as needed.

This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to maintain quality standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
