Position Title:

Machine Operator - 12-Hour Shifts

Wage:

$19.50-$20.67/hour

Shift:

12-Hours

Hours:

6am-6pm or 6pm-6am

We are hiring for a top plastics manufacturer in Madison, WI, seeking enthusiastic Machine Operators to join their collaborative and supportive environment. Don't just work, belong. Apply today!

Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment to produce thermoformed parts to specification
2. Inspect machinery, equipment, and tooling prior to set-up
3. Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution
4. Ensure part quality meets established standards and follow Good Manufacturing Practices
5. Complete shift documentation/paperwork
6. Discuss job status and updates with incoming shift
7. Participate in safety programs, follow established safety procedures, and wear appropriate PPE

Machine Operator Requirements:

1. Able to lift up to 10 lbs continuously (cases of product and hand tools)
2. Able to lift 11-30 lbs regularly (3-4 times per shift)
3. Able to lift 31-50 lbs occasionally (1-2 times per shift)
4. Able to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and stand for long periods
5. Able to work in warm environments
6. At least one year of manufacturing or related experience
7. Mechanical aptitude
8. Able to read, write, and speak English to meet training, safety, and quality requirements
9. Basic math skills
10. Good computer and software skills
