Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a Machine Operator in Lowell, MI for 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) and 3rd shift (10pm-6am). The role involves setting up and operating machining centers, adhering to safety procedures, and supporting quality control to meet specifications.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of experience preferred, strong mechanical skills, reliable attendance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Transportation is required.

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Lowell, MI within the Tooling industry.

Machine Operator Job Summary:

• 2nd and 3rd shift available!
• 2nd shift 2pm-10pm $18.50an hour
• 3rd shift 10pm-6am $19.00an hour
• Setting up and operating machining centers
• Following all shop safety procedures, such as wearing appropriate clothing, footwear, and eye protection
• Assisting with quality control procedures to ensure that the quality of all products meet specifications
• Resetting basic machine faults
• Sharpening and replacing worn tools

Machine Operator Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of work experience, preferred
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent attendance and a solid work history
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist, squat, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Reliable transportation
