Job summary

Elopak, a global packaging company, is hiring machine operators to run side sealer and case packing equipment in a high‑pace plant in Little Rock. You’ll perform quality tests, visual inspections and adjustments to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires 12‑hour shifts, seven days a week with every other weekend, a HS diploma or GED, and basic MS Office skills. We offer robust training, a safe climate‑controlled facility, and benefits including paid dental and vision insurance,

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED combined with experience in operating manufacturing equipments.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Good sense of mechanic.
  • Act as team player.
  • Be organized and rigorous, be goal oriented and able to take decisions.
  • Must be available to work on 12 hours shifts covering 7 days (1 weekend every second week).
  • Must have a Health and Safety mindset.
  • Good reading and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate sealing and packaging equipment in a high volume production environment.
  • In collaboration with team members, be responsible for multiple machines segments such as feeding, folding, sealing and packaging.
  • Perform regular quality checks and document results.
  • Performs change over and setups as per required production configuration.
  • Maintain equipment to zero base condition by performing preventive maintenance tasks and cleaning activities.
  • Respect good manufacturing practices (GMP) and understand written and verbal instruction to perform the work such as SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedure), Quality procedures etc

We produce sustainable packaging solutions for our customers and are looking for a couple of team players to join the pack. Our new, climate controlled plant is adding a second line and expanding the team.

In this job you’ll have to stay focus and keep a close eye on the production runs by performing quality test, visual inspection, monitoring controls etc. At times, everything runs well and smooth and at other times you’ll be in the action. Your ability to troubleshoot and to perform adjustments will keep our high pace equipment running and producing quality products. We are looking for machine operators that can run the side sealer and case packing machines.
