Essential duties and responsibilities

• Preparing the machine and equipment before they are used
• Performing a good operation of any kinds of heavy equipment
• Proficient use of equipment required by job function
• Read, Understand and complete all internal forms and documents(Equipment specification, Factory Orders, Etc)
• Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary
• Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions and to plan operational sequences
• Read and comprehend instructions before starting building process
• Maintain effective, professional, courteous and respectful communication with supervisor and other team members.
• Effectively and safely use of the rip saw machines
• Effectively and safely use of the planer machines
• Effectively and safely use of the glue reel machines
• Effectively and safely use of the glue press
• Follow all departmental objectives, standards or directions
• Ensure proper placement of tools at the end of each shift.
• Keep workplace safe, clean and organized

QualificationsQualification requirements

• S. Diploma/GED preferred
• Relevant industry experience preferred or equivalent manufacturing experience

Physical demands and abilities

• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, reaching
• Able to lift 50 pounds, repetitively
• Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects
