Job summary

WITRON is seeking a Machine Operator in Lansing, MI to monitor and operate an advanced automated material handling system within our distribution center. You will ensure smooth, efficient workflows in a fast-paced environment and contribute to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include managing operation and fault correction, addressing material flow issues, and troubleshooting basic mechanical, electrical, and computer system issues. Teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a warehouse is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for understanding root causes.
• Basic understanding of mechanical operations.
• Clear and effective spoken communication skills.
• Ability to continuously walk, climb, and stand, and to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights of 80–100 feet and adapting to temperature changes in a warehouse setting.

As An Machine Operator, You Will
