Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc. seeks a Machine Operator to join the Operations team in Kinston, NC. You will set up and operate a variety of machines to tight tolerances, interpret blueprints, and select tooling and feeds to produce parts per specifications.

You will monitor quality, follow safety standards, and perform routine maintenance. Training is provided with opportunities for growth and ESOP participation.

Qualifications

  • Sets up and operates machine tools to exact tolerances per blueprints and sketches.
  • Interprets engineering drawings and determines sequence of operations and setup.
  • Monitors quality using statistical processes and conducts routine maintenance.

Routinely move product within the immediate manufacturing work area, including across isle, using shop assigned equipment as required, and complete transactions necessary to move product to the next operation. On an exception basis, moves product to the next operation within a building.Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training and assisting employees of the same or lower classification level.Trains to become MVP qualified.Each employee may be asked, on occasion, to complete other duties and responsibilities as required by leadership.
