Job summary

ALPLA Group in Missouri is seeking an entry-level Production Operator to join our packaging lines. You will help produce and package goods, follow quality specs, and maintain clean, safe work environments across multiple lines.

You will work with a collaborative team, perform routine maintenance, and help ensure on-time line readiness. We offer hands-on training, competitive benefits, and growth opportunities at a global leader in sustainable packaging.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical background in plastics industry preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated mechanical ability.

Responsibilities

  • Overall line responsibility from production to packaging and ensuring quantities meet specifications.
  • Record goods produced and issues encountered during shift.
  • Follow quality processes and inspection methods; escalate concerns promptly.
  • Perform line clearance and autonomous maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot packaging equipment; load labels and verify accuracy.
  • Assist with mold/color changes and support team collaboration.
  • Maintain good housekeeping within the department.

What Will You Enjoy Doing
  • Overall line responsibility from production to packaging
    • Ensure goods are produced and packaged in correct quantity and in accordance with agreed specifications
    • Accurately records goods produced and problems encountered during shift
    • Follow all established quality processes and inspection methods to ensure product quality and promptly escalate any concerns
    • Line clearance performance
    • Autonomous maintenance check list
    • Operate, maintain and troubleshoot packaging equipment
    • Build, load and make boxes
    • Load labels and guarantee the accuracy of applied labels
    • Perform autonomous maintenance
    • Weigh scrap and label correctly
    • Wrap finished product
    • Operate up to 5 production lines simultaneously
  • Assists Machine operator II/Supervisor and Mold Change Team with mold/color changes as needed
  • Working together in a Team
    • Ensure team works together as efficiently as possible
  • Maintains good housekeeping within department

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical Background in Plastics Industry preferred
  • Basic computer skills
