Job summary

Unilever Jonesboro is seeking a Production Machine Operator to safely operate production equipment, meet the production plan, and support quality and cost targets.

You’ll work on 2nd or 3rd shifts with a 4-day or 5-day week and receive an extensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, profit sharing, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with maintaining and setting up/breaking down machinery.
• Ability to Read, Write and Mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain multiple work centers efficiently and effectively.
• Carry out cleaning and inspection activities.
• Record issues/problems with equipment for Technical Operator to resolve.
• Apply technical skills to operate machinery safely and meet the production plan.
• Conduct cleaning and lubrication as required.

Production Machine Operator

Location: Jonesboro, AR

Shift Assignments

2nd Shift:

• 10-hour shift / 4:00 pm - 2:15 am (Monday - Thursday) / 4-day work week
• 8-hour shift / 3:00 pm -11:15 pm (Monday - Friday ) / 5-day work week,

3rd Shift:

• 8 hour shift / 11:00 pm -7:15 am (Sunday - Thursday) / 5-day work week

Base Pay: $26.70 with an additional $1.50 - $1.90 shift differential ( base pay will increase to $27.74 upon completion of the 90-day probationary period) | Weekly pay period

The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation of production equipment to deliver customer requirements through completion of the production plan, adhering to quality standards and maximizing cost effectiveness, optimal running, and equipment efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate and maintain multiple work centers (machinery) efficiently and effectively
• Carry out cleaning and inspection activities
• Record any issues/problems with the equipment to assist the Technical Operator to resolve
• Technical - Knowledge and application of technical skills to operate machinery safely and effectively in order to meet the production plan.
• Conduct cleaning and lubrication as required.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• High School Diploma or GED equvalent required.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting operating, operating multiple pieces of machinery, trouble shooting, problem solving and setting up/breaking down machinery.
• Must have previous experience completing routine maintenance tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have the ability to Read and Comprehend, Writing and Mathematics.
