Job summary

Unilever Jonesboro, AR is seeking a Production Machine Operator to operate and maintain multiple production lines, ensure safety and quality, and support achievement of the production plan.

You will perform cleaning, troubleshooting, and setup tasks, follow procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement. Requires high school diploma and 2+ years machine operator experience in manufacturing; shift options include 2nd, 3rd shifts with varying hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years experience as a Machine Operator in manufacturing.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematics.
• Experience completing routine maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

Production Machine Operator Location: Jonesboro, AR - Shift Assignments 2nd Shift: 10-hour shift / 4:00 pm - 2:15 am (Monday - Thursday) / 4-day work week 8-hour shift / 3:00 pm -11:15 pm (Monday - Friday ) / 5-day work week 3rd Shift: 8 hour shift / 11:00 pm -7:15 am (Sunday - Thursday) / 5-day work week Base Pay: $26.70 with an additional $1.50 - $1.90 shift differential ( base pay will increase to $27.74 upon completion of the 90-day probationary period) | Weekly pay period

The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation of production equipment to deliver customer requirements through completion of the production plan, adhering to quality standards and maximizing cost effectiveness, optimal running, and equipment efficiency.

What You’ll Do

• Operate and maintain multiple work centers (machinery) efficiently and effectively
• Carry out cleaning and inspection activities
• Record any issues/problems with the equipment to assist the Technical Operator to resolve Technical - Knowledge and application of technical skills to operate machinery safely and effectively in order to meet the production plan.
• Conduct cleaning and lubrication as required.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• High School Diploma or GED equvalent required.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting operating, operating multiple pieces of machinery, trouble shooting, problem solving and setting up/breaking down machinery.
• Must have previous experience completing routine maintenance tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have the ability to Read and Comprehend, Writing and Mathematics.
