The Operator – Machine 2 is responsible for producing quality product while running continuous motion packaging, filling and palletizing equipment efficiently and safely.
What your day will look like
- Prepare quality check sheets
- Operate and troubleshoot multiple pieces of equipment efficiently
- Perform product change over without assistance
- Perform package change over without assistance on multiple pieces of equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with ISO Good Manufacturing Practices standards
What you need to succeed
- Minimum 18 years old
- Good safety record
- Ability to receive and follow instructions
- Work well with other employees and/or customers
- Good MVR if applicable
- Must pass the Company physical
- Neat appearance
- Self‑motivated
- Capable of learning to operate technical equipment
- Demonstrates alertness
- Manage several procedures at once in quick repetition
- Accept responsibility for safe and efficient completion of clean‑up functions
- Communicate mechanical problems to appropriate personnel without close supervision
- Meet physical requirements of the position
- Prior 90 days experience as a Production Machine Operator gives preference
Physical requirements
The position requires adherence to the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program and wearing safety toed shoes when operating powered industrial equipment or working where such equipment is present. The required physical actions and their frequency are:
