Job Description
Under the direction of the Plant Supervisor or a shift supervisor, employee will utilize mold machine to produce product line of container lids by setting up proper molds; setting, checking and maintaining proper temperatures, cycle times, and air and water flow rates; and accurately measuring and distributing proper material into mold, checking vent(s) condition. Will apply mold release, set vice clamps in proper locations and when cycle is complete, will remove molded parts inspecting for quality of product. Will label part with written label or bar code putting in sequential number and date. Will inspect mold and charge when required. Will keep work station clean. May rotate work assignments with other members of machine crew. Will wear required safety gear. May be assigned other jobs by supervision.
