Kelly Services is seeking a Machine Operator to join a premier manufacturing company in Indianapolis, IN. The role offers 1st and 2nd shifts with overtime availability and a path to growth within the team.

You will learn to operate equipment, read setup sheets and routing packages, and perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet dimensional requirements. Overtime is mandatory with long weekly hours and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience with tube or sheet metal fabrication is preferred.
• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and shop math proficiency.
• Able to read and follow routing and setup instructions.
• Capable of standing for 8-hour shifts and performing bending, twisting, and lifting.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

• - 1stShift: $19/hr (5am – 3:30pm)
• - 2ndShift: $21/hr (3:30pm – 2am)
• - Overtime is mandatory, with a weekly total of 58 hours.

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be:

• Learning to operate various types of equipment, making minor adjustments during production runs to ensure quality parts, and reporting issues to the Group Lead.
• Reading setup sheets and routing packages to ensure parts meet dimensional requirements.
• Conducting quality inspections as per written Quality Procedures and completing production records.
