Job description

A leading manufacturing facility is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Process Operator to join its production team, offering compensation up to $48,000 per year. In this role, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, managing Clean-In-Place (CIP) sanitation systems, and ensuring efficient product flow from storage through processing to packaging lines. Daily duties include executing regular quality assurance checks, performing basic math for operational logging, maintaining precise paperwork, and strictly adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards. Positions are available for two primary shift schedules—5:00 AM until close or 1:00 PM until close—and ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, prior manufacturing experience, English communication skills, legible handwriting, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

salary: $40,000 - $46,760 per year

Responsibilities

• Ensure all quality assurance checks are performed at designated intervals
• Understand product flow from milk silos to bottling/packaging departments
• Know correct product, silo source, and all handling procedures involved with the operation of processing equipment
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and maintained with correct information
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
