Machine Operator

Location: Houston, TX 77066
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour
Second Shift Differential: +$0.50/hour

About the Position

We are seeking reliable and motivated Production Operators to join our Houston, TX team. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with technical instructions, and interested in learning manufacturing processes.

Production Operators will be cross-trained in at least two of the following workstations:

• Blending: Mix powders, pigments, and solvents according to established recipes.
• Extrusion: Set up and monitor extrusion equipment to produce plastic films to required dimensions and specifications.
• Slitting: Set up and monitor slitting equipment to cut films to specified dimensions and spool settings.

Additional training may be provided in Quality Control and Packaging based on business needs and candidate qualifications.

Schedule

• Employees should be flexible and able to work across active shifts as needed:
• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:15 PM
• 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:15 PM
• 3rd Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:15 AM

New employees will generally begin training on 1st shift unless otherwise specified.

Employees may be moved to another shift after training based on operational needs.

• Experience using precision scales or weight measurements
